Our handmade sheepskin sheep footstools are crafted in the Cotswolds from natural sheepskin and solid wood. Each piece features a hand-carved wooden head and is individually upholstered, making every sheep completely unique. A Sheep with Its Own Character
No two Sheep&Chic sheep are ever exactly the same. Natural variations in the fleece give every piece its own colour, curl, texture and character. We particularly love working with distinctive British and rare breed sheepskins, alongside carefully selected European fleeces, creating unique pieces of handmade sheepskin furniture rather than identical, mass-produced products.

A few useful things to know about our handmade sheepskin sheep.
Do sheepskin sheep need much looking after?
Not really! Our sheep are very well behaved, don't need feeding and are quite happy staying indoors. To keep their fleece looking its best, we recommend giving it an occasional gentle brush with a regular hairbrush. This helps keep the wool soft, fluffy and looking its best. With just a little care from time to time, your sheep should stay looking beautiful for years.
How strong are your sheepskin sheep?
Our sheep are made to be both beautiful and sturdy. Each one is built around a strong solid wood construction, carefully shaped and padded, then individually upholstered by hand in natural sheepskin. From the hand-carved wooden head to the final upholstery and finishing, we pay close attention to every detail.
Can I order a bespoke sheepskin sheep?
Absolutely. As we make our sheep ourselves, we can create bespoke pieces to suit your home. You can choose the size and, depending on availability, select from British, rare breed and European sheepskins in different natural colours and textures.
